Hand-painted Easter eggs hung with yellow ribbon on a flowering branch

Whoever said Easter decor has to be all pastel all the time didn’t get the memo. There’s such a wide range of ideas to choose from.

In fact, I had so much fun putting together my first Easter home decor post that I just had to do another one! I mean, is one post really enough to cover all the good stuff?

My goal is to work with what you already in your existing space instead of taking it over for a month. Little effort, great results.

Read on for ideas, inspo, and simple Easter styling tips.

Ceramic bunny figurines with pastel eggs in a simple Easter vignette

Ceramic Bunnies for a Classic Easter Touch

You can’t go wrong with a classic ceramic bunny figurine. It’s one of those adorable Easter home decor staples that work every single time.

As for styling it, try nestling one or two of them into a little scene rather than just plopping it on a shelf alone. Add a few pastel eggs and even anchor it with some pretty fabric underneath. Voila!

These work great on a windowsill, an entryway console, or as part of a spring vignette on your mantel. And you can find these at just about any home goods or thrift store for next to nothing.

Styling idea: Ceramic bunnies paired with pastel eggs for a simple, classic Easter vignette.

Egg hunt yard sign placed near a front entrance for Easter

Cute Yard Signs

If you have kids (or even if you don’t!), an egg hunt yard sign is such a fun and easy way to bring Easter to life. No styling skills required!

Place it next to a shrub, stick it in a potted plant by the front door, or prop it up in a garden bed.

These signs come in all different styles, so you can go playful and bright or keep it a little more muted if that’s more your thing. Either way, it’s an easy outdoor touch that makes your home super welcoming for the holiday.

Styling idea: A cheerful yard sign placed near your front entrance for a festive outdoor Easter detail.

Hand-painted egg characters with bunny and cat faces on a tray with pearl beads

Playful Painted Egg Characters

Ok, these are just too cute so I had to include them. Little hand-painted egg characters! You can do tiny bunny faces, cat faces, really whatever you like.

Group them together in a small cluster on a tray or a shallow dish with some pearl beads underneath. It makes me think of something I’d see in a boutique shop display window.

This is also a really fun DIY project if you’re into that kind of thing. Grab some plain eggs, a few paint pens, and a free afternoon. It’s guaranteed fun for kids and adults!

Loose spring floral arrangement in a pedestal bowl

A Spring Floral Arrangement in a Pedestal Bowl

It wouldn’t be spring without flowers, so why not bring in some flowers for Easter?

You don’t have to be a florist to work with flowers, just get a variety of what’s in season at your local farmers market. The looseness of the arrangement is what makes it look beautiful, so don’t overthink it or try to make it too perfect.

This style of arrangement works as a dining table centerpiece, or on an entryway statement piece if you want to go all out for Easter brunch.

Styling idea: A lush, loose floral arrangement to celebrate spring.

Wicker nest basket filled with decorated eggs and pinecones

A Basket of Eggs for That Cozy Nest Feeling

Try using a different type of basket to hold your eggs this year. It’s a simple tweak, but using a wicker nest basket filled with decorated eggs gives it that natural, earthy look that’s so right for spring.

Play around with different size eggs and different finishes. Even add in a few pines cones!

Set it on a coffee table, a kitchen island, or your entryway console as a little welcome-to-spring, au natural. It’s one of those things you can throw together in about five minutes.

Wooden bowl filled with dusty blue, amber, and cream dyed eggs

A Wooden Bowl Full of Color

If you already have a wooden bowl sitting somewhere in your home (no judgement if you have more than one…), then congrats! You’re halfway to a great Easter centerpiece.

Fill it with a variety of dyed eggs in earthy hues like dusty blue, warm amber, and creamy white. The natural wood paired with those muted colors are so good together.

And if you have more than one bowl, you can put one on an end table, one on a kitchen counter, and even on a sideboard. Low-effort, high-reward decorating move. Check!

Styling idea: A natural wooden bowl filled with muted, multi-toned dyed eggs for non-pasteled Easter centerpiece.

Cheerful yellow Easter display with spring flowers and eggs

Cheerful & Charming

If you’re not using yellow yet in your Easter decor this year, let this be your sign. Yellow is so sunny and cheerful, and it brightens everything up.

This kind of display is perfect for a dining table, a kitchen windowsill, or a small shelf. And if you already have a yellow piece hiding in your kitchen, pull it out.

Styling idea: Bring in yellow for a bright and cheerful Easter display.

Speckled quail eggs and fresh sprigs in a small cup

Tiny but Mighty Decor

Don’t overlook the small stuff!

Speckled quail eggs are stunning on their own, no decorating needed. Add a few sprigs of whatever’s growing outside and place it all in a small cup.

These are perfect for a bathroom shelf, a nightstand, or next to each table place setting as little accent pieces. Sometimes the tiniest details make the biggest impression.

Easter Home Decor FAQs

What are simple Easter home decor ideas?
Oh, I have so many favorites! Honestly, a couple of ceramic bunnies nestled in with a few pastel eggs, a wicker nest basket or wooden bowl full of dyed eggs, a loose spring floral arrangement in a pedestal bowl, and speckled quail eggs in a small cup. Each one comes together in just minutes.
How do I style Easter decor without overwhelming my space?
This is my whole goal! I love working with what you already have in your space instead of letting Easter take it over for a month. Just add a few small seasonal touches to a windowsill, an entryway console, your mantel, or the coffee table. Little effort, great results.
Can Easter decor be non-pastel?
Oh, absolutely, and I love this one! Fill a wooden bowl with dyed eggs in earthy hues like dusty blue, warm amber, and creamy white. A wicker nest basket with a few pinecones gives you that natural, earthy look that feels so right for spring. And don’t be shy about bringing in some sunny yellow too!
Is painting egg characters a good Easter DIY?
Yes! Honestly, these are just too cute. Grab some plain eggs, a few paint pens, and a free afternoon, then paint tiny bunny or cat faces. I like to cluster them on a tray with some pearl beads underneath. It’s guaranteed fun for kids and adults!
